Brian Leo was born and raised in New Jersey. During winter break in his senior year at Rutgers University, he wanted to visit a friend in Montreal. She told him that she wasn't going to be around and that she was going to Korea to teach children English and how to ski. This gave Brian the bright idea to look into teaching English abroad!
He taught ESL in Seoul Korea from 1999 to 2000, paid off some of his school loans and saved enough money to travel around the world. Upon arriving back to NJ, he quickly found an ESL teaching position and has been teaching ESL and residing in NYC since 2001. He has over 14 years of experience instructing ESL classes and has been training teachers for a couple years. Brian's ESL knowledge, firsthand experience, and insight will prove to be advantageous to those who are seeking an ESL position abroad.
Teaching abroad and in The U.S.A. has been a rewarding experience for him in numerous ways. He feels that teaching abroad is the perfect oportunity to invigorate one's life and that travel may be the greatest education.
